Biodiversity studies

The loss of biodiversity is both an effect and a cause of serious alterations to the natural environment, and as a result, nature conservation policies are becoming increasingly important and the need for their implementation is increasingly pressing. The Natura 2000 network is an example and a central piece of these policies in Europe and demands new and more efficient study and monitoring techniques. The multiplicity of interactions between habitat conservation, species introduction and climate change make it necessary to improve the performance of monitoring and data interpretation methods.

En ECOHYDROS estamos en constante proceso de actualización técnico-científica to be able to offer solutions based on knowledge of habitats and species related to the aquatic environment, such as cartography and models of potential spatial distribution based on robust theories of ecology and on the generation and exploitation of numerous and accurate verification data, using detection techniques, quantification and analysis of high-performance and sensitive data.
